Background:
I have over 30 years of genealogical research experience. My personal research has taken me to Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Ireland, and Wales. With extensive experience in all types of records I am comfortable in all types of record repositories. I now live in North Carolina and am learning to use NC records.
I have attended National Genealogical Society (NGS) conferences for many years and have been a member of NGS for over 15 years. I am also a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), APG North Carolina.
I have taken the NGS Home Study Course and have completed the ProGen 17 study group.
I am currently involved with Family Search as a volunteer research consultant and as a member of a training committee.
I am a member of the Genealogical Speakers Guild and have presented lectures and workshops to numerous genealogical societies and our local Family History Center. I would be glad to discuss speaking engagements workshop opportunities.
I have self published a personal family history book, Rowland Jones: From Wales to Pennsylvania. A digital copy can be found at Familysearch.org.
